How does C2C-U work?

  • We recruit high achieving, diverse college students and recent graduates interested in interning or working in Congress or in public service in Washington, D.C.

  • We train them through a series of FREE, self-paced, online courses designed to help them secure and succeed in internships on Capitol Hill.

  • C2C-U graduates become eligible to receive a virtual mentor, who helps prepare, advise and support them in their transition to Washington, D.C.

  • Mentors help place C2C-U graduates in paid internships in the offices of our Congressional Champions, which include over 70 Members committed to paying their interns.

  • The internship experience, along with the support and preparation provided to students though C2C-U, helps them get hired on Capitol Hill after graduation or upon completing their internship!

Thanks to the generosity EDENS, one of the nation's leading retail real estate companies, College to Congress is now offering a limited number of flight, transportation, clothing and meal vouchers through the C2C-U Intern Opportunity Fund to C2C-U graduates who have successfully secured a public service-related internship .

The value of these financial aid packages range from $100 - $2,000 per person and can be made available on short notice. C2C-U students can apply to the fund through C2C's Online Portal, which they gain access to upon completing our "Interning on Capitol Hill 101" online course.
